Cardify.ma

The smart business card (NFC + QR) for professionals in Morocco — build a card, share it in a tap, and track how it performs across every channel.

Cardify.ma — "la carte de visite du futur" — replaces the paper business card with something measurably better: a smart card that loads in a second, carries every link a founder needs, and reports back on who clicked what. Designed for the Moroccan professional market, where a handshake still means exchanging cards and a WhatsApp share still closes deals.

Problem

Paper cards get lost, print runs get wasted, and no founder can tell whether a card ever did its job. The alternative — a personal link-in-bio page — looks generic and leaks branding. Cardify is the middle path: a branded card you own, with real analytics.

Approach

A full-stack build focused on the core loop create → share → measure:

  • Creation: an editor that produces a beautiful card without a designer — themes, branding, contact actions, and media.
  • Sharing, the real way: NFC and QR put the card on a physical object that travels to networking events, while a short link covers WhatsApp and LinkedIn — the two channels where Moroccan professionals actually connect.
  • Measuring: every view and click tracked, with a simple dashboard showing what actually converts.

Key decisions

  • NFC + QR as first-class citizens. A digital card that only lives behind a link misses the real context: someone's phone against yours at a conference. The NFC tag and QR code are as important as the URL.
  • Mobile-first, performance-first. Cards are opened on phones during a handshake, not on a desktop. The card itself is a static, pre-rendered page — it opens instantly anywhere.
  • Analytics that close the loop. A card with data beats a card with polish. Founders see which card, which link, and which channel earned the click.
  • Growth built into the product. The viral loop is native: every shared card advertises the platform to the person receiving it.

Status

Live and in production, built as a growth product from the first line of code — the kind of project where the marketing is the engineering. The referral loop behind it is exactly what I teach founders in Growth Hacking for Technical Founders.
