XAI is the AI engineering studio I co-founded — an AI Engineering, Software Development, and Digital Transformation company serving startups, enterprises, and public organizations. Headquartered in Agdal, Rabat (with an incubator presence at IDS, Salé), it was founded in 2025 and now operates as a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and strategists working remotely across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.

The problem we solve

Most enterprises in the region have hit the same wall: they can buy a demo of generative AI, but they cannot ship it. Data lives on-premise or in constrained clouds, models must answer from company documents rather than general knowledge, and "AI strategy" has to survive contact with procurement, compliance, and production load. XAI exists to close that gap — turning models into deployed, sovereign, measurable systems.

Approach

• Sovereign AI first. For our clients, data processing stays local and protected (data sovereignty). No public-cloud shortcuts that leak sensitive corporate or national data.
• Full deployment cycles, not demos. Every engagement runs evaluation and fine-tuning on Azure AI Foundry, then ships — with monitoring, guardrails, and rollback in place.
• Agentic workflows and the X-Ecosystem. We build enterprise copilots, autonomous agents, and B2B SaaS systems, backed by a 50+ product "X-Ecosystem" that lets us pivot fast as LLM capabilities evolve.
• One team, full stack. AI engineering, software development, cloud/DevOps, MLOps, APIs, UX/UI, and digital strategy delivered together — so nothing gets lost between a model notebook and a product.

• Sovereignty is a product feature. In our market, the ability to run AI where the data lives is often the difference between winning the deal and losing it.
• Deployment is the moat. A studio judged on shipped systems compounds faster than one judged on slides. "ZCRUM / Deployment First" is how we run.
• Evaluation before launch. Clients pay for outcomes; we can only promise outcomes we can measure, so evals and guardrails are non-negotiable.
